From June 14th-30th, the most comprehensive exhibition on the late Fan Ho’s work will be shown at Sotheby's Hong Kong. The exhibitions features over 30 vintage works by the celebrated photography master and film director Fan Ho. Each photo captures a moment in time, nostalgically documenting life in Hong Kong in the 1950s. For the first time, Fan Ho’s photography and related objects, among them the original Rolleiflex f3.5 camera used throughout his lifetime, will be exhibited.

In addition, a new book has been released, Visual Dialogues: Hong Kong through the Lens of Fan Ho - a book which takes the readers on a journey through the old streets, quaint corners and harbour views of Hong Kong in the 1950s and 60s. The never-seen-before images were photographed and cropped by the award-winning photographer Fan Ho. The book begins with a foreword by celebrated film director John Woo and also includes an essay by Professor Joseph Fung and biographical notes compiled by Sarah Greene, director of Blue Lotus Gallery, the gallery which represents Fan Ho in Hong Kong.
